Newest update not working WIFIRanger Aspen

Just tried the newest updato the WIFIRanger Aspen with the Denali. It hangs at 24% or 35% and gives this message.

The Denali is set to upgrade to 7.1.0b11, and the Aspen is set to upgrade to 7.1.0b12. Version mismatch, Run 'Check for updates' on the Denali. Rebooting the Aspen

I can't find out how to update only the Denali, assuming that is what it wants. Are their any instructions on how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi there:

It's actually not that difficult to unpair your two Rangers and update them separately but before you do that let me check them out in our database.

If, for some reason, there's a problem as to which update they are "pointed" to, the database will show that.

Please send me the IDs of your Rangers. Both of them would be best, but I can look them up if you only have one. You can either post them here or PM them to me.

Thanks for the help Doc. Don't know what I would do without you. Once pointed in the right direction I was able to update the Denali and get both on the same firmware level. Easy to do. I had jumped on the update you had described in your announcement because my Aspen was getting very glitchy. The system is now running better than it has been in quite a while now.

One additional tip, experienced WiFiRanger users, who know how to access the control panel using its numeric address rather than "mywifiranger.com" can disable Control Panel Redirect on the setup page which will result in somewhat faster page load times.

Is that this one?

http://10.146.22.1:8080/main.php?page=ranger

If not I would like to know how to do that.

Right! If your Ranger's ID ends in 4622 then that would be the location of its control panel.

Some people are, initially, intimidated by entering URLs like that in their browsers so we developed the Redirect to make their lives easier since all they have to do is enter "mywifiranger.com" to get to the control panel.

If you don't need this "assist", disabling it will speed up your browser's performance.
