No power to Winegard satellite box

Just tried to raise my dish and no power to the box. I’ve checked breakers and gfi,s. Can’t find a problem. Any ideas where else to check ?

Thanks

Steve

Assuming you have a Winegard Trav'ler, on mine the wire coming from the a 120V outlet to the the control box actually consists of two pieces plugged into one another. Ours would come apart periodically leaving us with the "no power" situation you describe.

Entertainment items usually go thru the inverter. Check the breaker(s) on the inverter if you have one.

What docs said.... But first you have to test that outlet you plugged into to be sure IT has power.

oh - also check that the power plug didn't come out of the back of the control box itself.

Thanks for posting this solution. After 7 years we encountered this problem today and your solution worked! Thanks again, Doc.
