Nomad Internet

Does anyone have experience with a company called "Nomad Internet"? A cellular internet provider.

I will be getting it after I move in a few weeks.
Eric, Nomadic Fanatic, says it is pretty good so far.

Unlimited with NO throttling.

Cheapest plan they offer is $129/month PLUS $249 membership fee.

There are many options cheaper then this. Currently have ATT mobley $24/month, not available any more but there there is Visible for ~$40/month.

Yes, they are cheaper but both are throttled.

Many that use over 500GB on any plan soon find out they are either throttled or shut down.

Where's the fine print?

If my Mobley has ever been throttled I wouldn't know it. I can stream movies with it and down load speeds are good enough for me.

Besides, if you are moving and are in a remote location your connection will be only as good as the nearest tower.

I have Sprint phone service, no throttling, unlimited and ability to tether my laptop and I can hardly make a call in the house. Finally complained and Sprint sent me a Magic Box which helps.

A Mobley works with an old grandfathered AT&T plan which is not available any more. It was $20 a month for unlimited data.

I have Visible which costs $40/month for unlimited everything including hotspot. I have joined a "Party Pay" plan that brings this down to $25/month. So far this month I have used 254 GB of data and have 10 more days left for this cycle. It is mostly unlimited but Visible can reduce the data speed during high usage for the tower connected to.
