What is the overall opening size on the outside of the camper?

Personally I would look at ripping all of it out and finding the largest TV that will fit in the opening, eliminating the stereo. If you can fit in a small soundbar you could stream audio from your phone or other source through pretty much any smart TV or soundbar.

Computer monitors could also work if you pair with the soundbar, or possibly PC speakers if you can't fit a soundbar. You would need additional devices like a Roku/Fire stick, external DVD, OTA tuner, etc. but most of those are small and cheap.

I just hung a 65" inside my toyhauler yesterday. Decided to go with an AV receiver and surround sound speakers.
I agree with the person above that a soundbar and modern smart TV would work great. Get rid of the CD player and speakers. Save them for a different project or give to a friend.

Agree, remove all and get a smart tv. While you are at it I would recommend adding a swivel mount. Allows you to set up camp in the best way and then come tv time adjust it to best position. Our tv is toward the front of the coach and that doesn't always allow for putting our chairs and side tables where we want them in a camp spot. The mount changed that, good upgrade.

While not RV related, we just replaced semi-outdoor TV a couple of months ago with a cheap QLED TV off Amazon, and it is amazingly brighter than the 5 or so year old model it replaced, VERY impressive for a 50 inch sub $400 TV (looks like it is up to $400 now), this is the one we used https://smile.amazon.com/Hisense-50-.../dp/B09WNJT9X3 The same model is also available in 55, 65 inch etc

Hisense is getting a pretty good reputation on some of the youtube review channels.
I went with the Hisense U8G the 2021 model.

Thank You

The idea to remove all and go w/Roku TV to fill the space makes sense. Thx for your input!
