Park Cable Jumper?

I’ve got a 2008 Wildcat, it has the Concertone AV System with a built in tv tuner. I’ve put new TVs in and bypassed the Concertone tuner by taking the coax from the unit and going direct to my tv.

I’m thinking about buying a dish for the RV, I have an outside hookup for “park cable” and the instructions say I need to use a jumper to use this connection. There is a plate by the tv with two coax connections where I’m to use this jumper. I’m thinking I’ve eliminated the need for this by connecting the tv directly to the coax that was connected to the Concertone, would this be correct?
