Pepwave Dual Sim Options
We recently added another TMobile sim card to our Pepwave dual sim router.
I see on the choices when you have 2 cards you can choose, use both sims, or alternate between both. Wondering what others choose and the Pepwave logic behind the two choices. I also see the A or B if one were maxed out...but both are now at the start over for the month...Thanks!

I manually pick A or B and manually switch if I hit the limit and get cut off. Leaving it in Both mode is a bit finicky and leads to the Pepwave reinitializing the cell modem every time there's a minor interruption in cell service. Minor interruptions take about 20 seconds to clear, a reinit to change SIMs takes 5 minutes to clear.

Has anybody even tried two SIM cards with two separate carriers ? Ie T-Mobile and Verizon while I would assume resetting as above would occur I am curious if anybody even tried it and if so what was the result ?

Not sure what you are really asking or what you are trying to accomplish. However, if your question concerns using 2 SIMS concurrently, you need two radios modems). For example, a Pepwave Max Transit CAT Duo with 2 CAT-12 modems. The other part of the equation is the ability of the device to accomplish carrier aggregation. This is when the device receives & processes multiple signals from the same carrier. CAT-18 modems can aggregate 4 bands. I believe CAT-12 modems are limited to only 2.
You also need to consider what the carrier makes available to you with its signal & how fast the processor is within the device. This information is typically available on the spec sheet of the device.
