PLEX Remote Live TV Watching Issue

I have a Plex Media Server installed on a Nvidia Shield. I have a 2TB usb hard drive attached to the shield, setup as internal storage. I cannot view live TV remotely but I can view recorded programs. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Are you talking about IPTV which is part of the Plex App or are you talking about apps like Youtube TV?

I have a tuner connected to the Plex Media Server so I can hopefully stream and watch local TV stations remotely on my devices via the Plex App. This has worked in the past but not recently.

Is it possible your server is not signed in?

I can watch recorded shows so I would think this is not the issue.

Not entirely. Recorded shows become library items just like movies and tv shows you have collected. I know at one point, though, Live TV required you to have a PlexPass, whereas watching shows in your own libraries (DVR included) did not. Not sure if that is still the case. But I think a recent update might have messed up some Plex server registrations if you were running Plex on Windows. Could be wrong, though, I don't use Windows so just glanced at it.

I do have an active Plex Pass subscription with Plex running on Nvidia shield. I have logged out of Plex and then logged back in with no change in performance.
