Poor Cell/Internet Reception at campsite

We’ve a campsite we like to visit in Western Oregon called Shelter Cove on West Odell Lake off Hwy 58. Unfortunately you only get at best a very weak Internet connection which is mostly only at the reception office area. The actual campsites is pretty much non existence as far as any internet signal. As far a cell phone reception it is also very weak at all the sites but a little bit stronger at the office. I’ve talked to the office personal who states to there knowledge no one has reported to them that they can boost the signal. Your at about 4700 feet elevation which you drop down from 6000 feet elevation to get down to the campsites. I’ve been reading forum articles about different Internet Boosters etc (Wifi Ranger etc.). It appears there isn’t really anything you can do about the reception due to lack of repeaters/towers in the area. Any thoughts on this matter? It appears Wilson Amplifiers WeBoost Signal Booster Kit 472120 $399.99 might help with the cell reception! Thanks-happy RVing. At least the fishing is fair for Kokanee, Trout

Unfortunately, WiFi signals originate from the WiFi router and there is not a lot you can do to suck more band width or radio signal into your receiver.

A signal booster has to be put on the originating router to increase the power of the emitter. So, unless you can get the campground owner to invest in better equipment for boosting their signal, you're out of luck.

Of course, that said... You could try one of these...
an "Extended Long Range WiFi Receiver System"

It may help, but, again, it is still contingent on the originating signal.

My WeBoost Drive Reach with directional yagi antenna's on a 25' pole will usually work anywhere that has at least one bar of signal.

As more people use their cellular services to access the internet the motivation and need for parks to upgrade their WiFi systems decrease. Kind of like how video rental stores went away as streaming became feasible.
Furthermore, it is almost impossible to provide quality WiFi service across multiple acres due elevation changes, obstructions and the fact that rural parks have limited bandwidth to begin with.
In my opinion parks likely have better places to invest in upgrades other than a WiFi revamping.
