Rand McNally 7725 sd card

I have a rand McNally RVND 7725. I have been trying to find out the largest memory size for the SD card. Seems even Rand doesn't know. Been around in circles. A while ago for a map update said I didn't have enough memory but didn't give any info. The Manual doesn't say it either.

Forget it; Rand McNally no longer supports lifetime map updates for anything over 3 years old. RM considers the past "end-of-life".
reference: https://www.randmcnally.com/pages/mapupdates
I have a 7730 and 7, RM says both are past end-of-life, no more map updates in the past 4 years. I even emailed them about buying an update - no response.
Today they do not sell RV GPS units, only hiking, trucking and boating units.

I now use a 7" OHREX Chinese truck/RV GPS I bought new through Amazon for $70. So far it it accurate every time, however compared to my RM units it is clumsy to use. Their lifetime map updates come on a micro SD card, which requires you to register on their website, we'll see how that works out.

Hmm, RM recently released one last update so I think the last post is kind of wrong.
What size SD card do you have? I thought mine was 8 and it took the update just a few weeks ago (maybe even less than a few weeks).

Regardless of what Rand considers an map update, try entering a trip from Las Vegas, NV, to Kingman, AZ.

If it routes you on Hwy 93 through Boulder City instead of I-11 which bypasses Boulder City, then the map is at least four years old.

After a year of contacting Rand McNally I finally got a response. The max is 16GB but not an 'Ultra' or 'HD' version.

I recently came the opposite way from kingman to LV and it routed me on I-11.
