Range of Minneapolis Directv local stations?

Can anyone give me the approximate range of the Minneapolis local stations on Directv. I have been getting the feeds out of Duluth at our summer home and don't know if I can endure another summer of those locals. I'm near the Ely area and hoping Minneapolis spot beams stretch into the boundary waters area.

Thanks for your input.

I believe that this link is for the spot beam map of Minneapolis. This link will open a map in google earth showing the area of the spot beam. You will need to have google earth on your computer for this to work.

According to that map, Ely should see a useable signal at around 50.9 dBw. YMMV

My bad, I should have given credit where it belongs. The DirecTv spot beam maps are available on a lengthy thread by Gary Toma at Interactive Beam Footprint Library - DIRECTV Tips and Resources - DBSTalk . They do not cover Dish, however, a cursory google search of "dish spot beam map" returns several promising looking hits. I hope you're able to find what you need.
