RF Mogul Excellent Customer Service

Just wanted to acknowledge some outstanding and prompt tech support from RF Mogul. When arrived at our current location and started the Sat system, we got a message that the system could not detect GPS. It would not do a search. I called RF Mogul and got some diagnostic suggestions from them but nothing he suggested fixed the issue. So he said his best expert would call me as soon as he could.

Carlo called me in about an hour and asked me a few questions (we had left the coach and were on errands). He quickly made a diagnosis and said I needed a firmware update. He sent an email with the firmware file and instructions. Got back to the coach, copied the file to a USB stick, did the firmware upload to the controller (very easy, basically an automatic operation), and the problem was fixed.

Good to hear. Winegard would have told you to send it to them for rebuild.
