My Garmin RV 780 has a weight setting. It's one of the fields you fill out when setting up your vehicle profile, so double-check your setup. Even if it's set, there's no guarantee that it (or any GPS navigation system) is going to catch every road with a weight restriction.

Yes I did set it up but missed a zero now it is set. It still, took me down the wrong road. However RVtripwizard took me down the correct road and avoided the low weight bridge. Same start same end. Why

It's hard to accept that Garmin has RV settings with no way to change them once entered.

I don't think that's why it didn't change the route. It's more likely that it's map database is missing the info on that particular bridge.

Missing information is not the fault of Garmin, gps mfgrs buy their maps and data from the same company.
I had that conversation with a technician from Rand McNally a few years ago. I called to report a substantial map error 6 miles from my house. The technician told me he would log the error and report it, but it may take up to 2 years before the correction would be in a map update from the company as they must physically verify the correction. Sadly,3 yrs later it has never been corrected.

I was able to change the weight to 44,000 lbs and it still routed me down the same road and bridge with a weight restriction. RVtripwizard sis’s not route me down that bridge and road. Tripwizard routed me down the correct road?
RV780 is updated.
