RVND 5510 vs. RVND 7710

Just wondering if the screen size is the ONLY feature difference between these two models..........and the price of course.

If/when it comes time to buy a replacement for my present unit, I'd wait for when they include lifetime maps software also.

I have owned a RVND 5510 since the day it was released. I plug it into the computer and get updates (no charge) every few weeks. The unit has met my expectations. I'm not sure whether a larger screen would make much difference but I can't say for sure if the larger model has other benefits.

I am interested in hearing some use reports on the new Magellan for RVs. They have been in the gps business a long time so may have an interesting product. I like my 5510, but it does have shortcomings, not the least of which is its visibility in bright light. I am also a little disappointed with its POI base. Even updated, it still lists businesses that have been gone for three years. No matter what you have you still need to stay alert - the Rand has made several route mistakes that included low clearances and questionable roads.
