Satellite emergency SOS feature for iPhone 14

You must have had some bit of cellular service because only the iPhone 14 has satellite access.

I’d like to know what you meant by “SOS Signal.” I have an iPhone 13. The choice to activate SOS appears whether I have cell phone service or not, but I don’t believe it will connect without cell service or WI-FI.

I see nothing to indicate whether or not it’s active, as you experienced. Am I missing something?
