Satellite reception problem

In a Tiffin Phaeton 40qkh with a Wineguard in motion satellite and a Pathfinder. Will admit that there might be a few trees giving me problems with the in motion. I had a signal until I switched stations and lost everything. Set up the Pathfinder. Only way to get it to work was to direct wire the coax to the receiver through a window. DW doesn't want to do that since we'll be here for at least four months. I'm not technology inclined so any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks for your help.

Connect the Pathfinder coax to the TRIPOD connection in the electrical bay.
Go to the cabinet where your receiver is located and find the unused coax labeled TRIPOD and connect it to the receiver " SAT IN" connector. Now your Pathfinder should work.

Not sure what receiver you have but the Pathfinder is limited to only a few receivers. I know that the 211z and 211k will work and a couple of others.
