Tracvision just allows satellite viewing while traveling. So if you're in an RV with antsy kids, you can still let them watch cartoons as you're driving on the open roads.

"TracVision A9 provides full in-motion reception of satellite TV signals on open roads with a clear view of the TV satellites in the southern sky throughout most of the continental U.S. Access to local channels is subject to local availability and satellite accessibility."

I think you just need to check your satellite receiver to find out if it's DTV or Dish than call their service about switching to either their service using a Tailgater or King Dish portable dish. There are lots of 'gottchas' with that system so if you want to use it, proceed carefully.
'02 Winnebago Journey DL, DSDP, 36' of fun.
