I'm in Yuma, hooked up to Shaw. 88% signal strength and all the channels that I received last year.

OP is going "South of the Border" as in Mexico.

Youll get the same channels in Mexico that you get in Yuma AZ. We are now south and have ALL the same channels we had last year.

When you are tuning the satellite make sure that the square on the signal strength page is green. It's to the left of the actual signal strength bar. Try channel 700 or 799. If it's not already green you will never get the dish aligned.

Dish is the 60 Eliptical
In the summer I had to get upgraded receivers.
At that time the LNB also had to be swapped out.
I was able to buy an extra LNB from the contractor as Shaw was clamping down on their number of heads allowed without the "Home away Program"
The LNB I am using.
Triple Satellite Quad output switchable xKu LNBF
Model SHAW60E
Receivers are HDDSR800
