Dish not locking on

You can try the RV dealers in your area or you can buy the update from Winegard directly. The upgrade part number is SW-TRV1. It costs about 300.00US

Exclamation Shaw dish not locking on again

It looks like Shaw and Winegard are not on the same page again. Shaw shut down the satellite that the Winegard dish looked for to lock onto. This happened in February 2024. Winegard is now busy trying to get a new software update to the system. I am currently waiting for the update and when it is available I will be able to update your dish. I stay in the Lacombe , AB area but I will travel to surrounding areas to do the update. Cost depends on how far I have to travel.

PS
If you are a snowbird you probably won’t get any channels south of the border.

Hmmm..

Hi Bob. Not sure what your issue is, but my system works fine. I did have to upgrade from 600 series receiver to 800 series, for free, but that was for all 600 receivers and HD. According to Shaw, no changes have been made. Have you upgraded your receiver? And there is a better chance of getting Shaw in the USA than Bell.

And I also do the non-lock fix as well, in Eastern Canada.

I just got back from the U.S. and Shaw doesn’t work in the southern states anymore. I have emails from people down there who lost all of the programming.

Well I hope they get their stuff together because if you can't get service in Canada we are in real trouble as nothing available here in California right now!!
