Starlink is plug and play. Go to the starlink website and set up an account, download the app to your phone, and then plug everything in. Find your Starlink in the app and just do what it says.
Wifi ranger isn't really worth the trouble. I waded in one day just for giggles, basically you need to turn it on, and then bring up a web browser to set the thing up. You'll need the network ID, network address and password, and administrative password of your Wifi Ranger, which you can find using some combination of reading the documentation, looking at what's printed on the unit itself, and what you can find on the internet. The whole process is kinda buggy and it's a lot of trouble to go through for lousy campground wifi.
I generally like the idea of a cellular router, and Wifi Ranger was kind of a pioneer in that regard back in the day. But it's a different world now. You can save yourself a lot of trouble and money if ya run down to the Tmobile store and get ya a 5G hotspot. It'll work better, and all by itself solves about 90% of your connectivity needs on the road. Add Starlink for remote or mission-critical access.
