Good price. Looks like Home Depot is matching it.

Very tempted to bite the bullet and pick up a mini. Was looking at buying a Gen 3 standard but now the mini is cheaper. My plan is to use the Starlink as a backup to my T-Mobile 5G hotspot in case of no signal. Since the mini has an internal router, I will probably bypass the mini's internal router and patch the mini directly into the WAN port of my router. Plan to pick up a Peplink B One 5G as my router. This should give me the best of all worlds.

OK, I couldn't resist. I purchased the mini though Home Depot for the $299.00 + tax. Total came to $316.94 delivered. Paid for it though PayPal Credit so I have 6 months to pay it off with no interest. I always setup payments months in advance so I never forget to pay if off before the 6-month deadline. Delivery is expected tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip. Probably won't be used anytime soon but at least I'll have it if needed. Might pay to get it working for 1 month just to make sure it's working.
Planning a weeklong boondock at Atlanta Motor Speedway in October for the Petit Le Mans. With 150K plus people there for the races I wasn't comfortable with T-Mobile data only since everything I do is with streaming services. Figured, worst case scenario, if T-Mobile service gets bogged down, I can un pause the Starlink and be back in service using their 50G plan.

When I bought the standard Starlink a year ago ($299.00), I didn't know what mounts I needed, so I bought several options with their 30 day money back guarantee. When I decided what I didn't need, I started to return those items. The Starlink rep said; "No need to return the items, just keep them as it cost more for shipping/restocking and they would still refund my money". What a deal.
If you do decide to purchase Starlink, include whatever you think you might need. You can always return it and in the end, maybe not.

If you are active military or a veteran you can get 10% off at Home Depot.

You have the same setup as me and we have been very happy with it. Our T-Mobile has worked in 90% of the places we have been and Starlnik has filled in the gaps. At 42.00 a month for T-Mobile and 165.00 a month for Starlnk using T-Mobile has saved us a bunch of money.
I have moved my B-One to home duty and now I'm using the BR! with the 50 series chips. The B-One is just too large for the media cabinet.

I was looking at the BR1 5G Pro but the cost was too much for less features then the B One 5G. I do have an extra overhead cabinet next to the media cabinet so I could use that to house the B One 5G. I was also looking at using a GL-iNet X3000 Spits as an option. Much less expensive but currently not available for shipment. Might look into the GL-XE3000 Puli. In stock and battery backed up.

Ended up picking up a Starlink mini router to use temporarily with the mini dish kit. This way I can have the dish positioned some distance from my MH and still have great Wi-Fi inside the MH. It's not a cellular router but it was only $40 and gives me Wi-Fi 6 dual band operation where the internal router in the Mini is only Wi-Fi 5. I was concerned that the positioning of the mini dish would put it too far away to get a good W-Fi signal inside the MH. Not my final solution, but it buys me time till I decide on which cellular router to pick up in the future and fund it.
Still thinking of either the Peplink B One 5g, BR1 Pro 5g or the GL-iNet GL-X3000 Spitz as my final solution. I do have several 5G hotspot devices (Netgear MR-6150, Inseego MiFi X Pro 5G M3000) right now for cellular service with T-Mobile. If I setup all of the devices to use the same SSID and Password, then the connected devices won't have to be setup individually to get access. I just need to make sure I only have one internet source turned on at a time. Crude but it does work for now.

I heard about that option for a 40.00 Starlink router but haven't heard any reviews. How about review when you get it? Also, do you have control of the settings/firewall or does Starlink maintain control and can Starlink log into the router like the gen 3 router? As a former ISP I hate having someone else having control of my security settings.

Will verify what I can, but my guess is that they would have the same access to the router as they do to the Gen 3 router. I am using it as a temporary solution and don't have any critical data being transmitted. Basically, I use it for streaming services within the MH. Expecting a slight improvement in performance as well since it will provide me with a stronger Wi-Fi signal. Not sure the WiFi 6 vs 5 will actually provide me with any improvement.
I'll have a 45' data and power cable so that will allow me to position the dish better and still have a good local Wi-Fi signal.

Picked up the mini today, will eventually try it out. We boon dock in a few places where cell coverage is bad to non existent. We like watching some news before turning in so it will come in useful during cell-out camping. I'm assuming that while connected to it, I can turn on the wifi calling on my phone and call out in case of emergencies? Wife has issues.

Yes, you can make Wifi calls over Starlink.

My Mini arrived and I have a 50G plan enabled. I'll be testing it out tomorrow. The Router Mini has shipped and should arrive later in the week. I also have a Mini 49' ethernet cable. Should be able to do a direct comparison once I get everything set up some time next week. Tricky part will be getting a good view of the sky at my house. The house is surrounded by forest. Doing a cursory scan of the sky using the app gives, me 56% to 95% view. Less right around the motorhome though.
