Subwoofer Installation

I saw several older threads on this topic but didn't find what I needed for my scenario. Figured I shouldn't grave-dig those, so here I am.

I'm adding a soundbar and subwoofer to my living room TV in my fifth wheel. It'll be no problem installing the soundbar since there is a perfect spot just below the TV where I can batten it down and connect it. As for the subwoofer, I'm currently planning to locate it in the corner of the dining area since there is a nearby outlet and it's mostly unused space. The walls in that area are exterior slide walls if that matters. Attached my floor plan for reference.

My question: What might be a good way to secure the powered subwoofer from this combo so that it isn't launched out a window while I'm driving to my next destination? Fifth wheels are apparently a bit of a bumpy ride while underway, given how I've seen other (inadvertently) unsecured items easily navigate to other areas of the RV depending on road conditions.

Am open to any ideas you may want to share regarding how to get that subwoofer to stay in place.

There are some industrial strength hook & loop (Velcro) products available. I'd look at those to start.

Interesting. Wasn't aware of that. And thanks! Will research that now and am still certainly open to other insight as well.

Yeah. I’d remove the feet and use HD Velcro. I love the dual-lok stuff which stays clean since it’s plastic on both sides. However, in this case, the HD Velcro’s fabric will provide a layer of sound dampening.

If you can get the sub flat to the floor, then buy EarthQuake straps which apply with adhesive and have a strap-lock that’s easily removed so you can clean under and around; something that the Velcro solution won’t be too fun to do.

I wasn't aware of that product either. I need to get out more often. Thanks for another great idea!
