T-mobile
T-Mobile is offering their internet package for $30/mo including all taxes and fees. Since our bricks and sticks is very close to one of their towers, we are going to take advantage of it. I have also read that others take their "modem' when traveling and can use it on 5G towers across the nation. We shall see.

If you have the 5G home internet thingy, take that with you on the road. I have used it from WA to AZ and had coverage along the route.
Did find out that it doesn't work in Mexico

Where are you seeing $30? Is that a special deal?
I'm only seeing $50 https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet
I think for a while it was $25 when you got it with a phone plan.
People do seem to take it on the road quite successfully even though it's not supposed to be portable.

Oh okay. I didn't realize that deal was still on.
I guess it's a pretty good deal provided you need Magenta Max.

By the way, something I read recently is that T-Mobile is planning to end auto-pay for credit cards. It will only be available for debit card or direct bank transfer soon.

I am on Magenta Max and am paying $ 25 per month, too. This was a promotional rate, they offer it for this occasionally. I believe right now the current offer for Magenta Max phone plan customers is $ 30.
One of the nice things about T-Mobile is their "all in" pricing that includes all taxes and fees. I know my $20 per month Connected Car data plan on ATT is not really $ 20 it is actually $ 24 because they don't include taxes and fees in their pricing like T-Mobile does.
At my home it has 3 or 4 out of 5 bars signal on 5G band 41 and I get average peak download speed of around 80 megabits per second and average peak upload speed of around 5 megabits per second.
Very good value for $ 25 per month. However, it is not as reliable as the cable internet I replaced. The T-Mobile will drop briefly out on average about twice a week. It self restores typically within 10 minutes or if I am home using it when it drops I will use the T-Mobile iPhone app to reboot the gateway from the phone app to manually restore. The manual restore takes exactly 60 seconds.
Alll in all its worth it for me. I won't be traveling with it as I use my limited to 40 GB/month T-Mobile 5G/4G iPhone hotspot and/or my unlimited grandfathered ATT Connected Car 4G/3G on Alcatel Hotspot when traveling. I need continuous internet at home for the Ring home monitoring system.

I think I'm going to get another 5G home for the security system. Our power goes out for maybe 4-6 hours and the chances of getting broke into during that time is slim to none

I just got one for $40 with autopay and don't have Magenta Max. I have 2 lines on the One plan over 55. Don't need the extras with Magenta Max.

My wife received an email and it quoted $30. She went online and showed $50. She called customer service and got the $30 rate.

I got my TMHI through Metro by T-Mobile. I paid $25 for the gateway & I own it. The advantage to owning is I can modify it and add external antennae if I'd like.

We have been looking at this T-Mobile internet lately.
Main reason is, where we will be in Arizona, there just isn't much available for internet service.
I know the best solution would probably be Starlink, but just not wanting to pay that much for a decent internet service.
What I'm really concerned with, is, if you pack it up and take it with you camping or to a different state, do you have to change the address in order for it to work properly?
Or, does it matter?

It doesn't matter. The T-mobile store will register the store address if you don't have "coverage" at your home address.
