T-Mobile Vacation Home Internet

I heard a rumor about getting a 2nd tower for WIFI at a vacation home for a low price. I chatted with a rep and he tried to sell me the Mobile plan at $110 a month.

Anyone know anything about a 2nd home plan?

We have one for our house that takes care of our security system. We have another one that we carry on the road. One is 30 bucks/mo and the other one is 50/mo

I have a $40 one that had traveled, but has settled down at the main house, and would like the 2nd at our Vacation home for security and visits. But not $110 for the travel plan, the house doesn't have wheels.

For another $50/month, you can just open a second account, perhaps under a spouse's name, with its own billing at the vacation home and you're okay.

The rep you talked to was wrong. You can get another Home Internet $30 plan at a different address.

That is what I've heard. Where do I find the info @ T-Mobile, when the rep doesn't know?

There have been rumors and rumblings for a while about T-Mobile geofencing home internet towers if they detected you had moved them for travel and locking them out. I have not read or heard of it actually happening. I've wondered if the vacation plan they are offering is more like a warning shot across the bow. If you use T-Mobile for your primary home internet and you have systems like security, fire, water leak, etc that require an internet connection; here's your last chance. If you subscribe to this service, we won't fence you in (or out),

I have not received an offer from T-Mobile. I have only heard a rumor that a plan was available, but been unable to verify.

I will check the local shop when I get back to WA. Here in TX, I have been unable to receive any info.
