The new kindle Fire tablet...

Amazon has announced their new tablet, the Kindle Fire. It looks pretty slick and has a very good price point. A lot of features available straight from Amazon adds a significant bonus right out of the box. You get the app store, streaming movies, free cloud storage, etc. The iPads are really cool but a considerably more expensive. I think this Kindle Fire will do well at its price point.

Personally, none of the tablets currently on the market can replace my laptop so I will hang on to that. But for many people, I think this will be a very good solution for them. The biggest drawbacks I see to it is the lack of 3G/4G and no camera.
