Transferring My Pictures from flip phone to Smart Phone

Is it very easy, or even possible to transfer My Pictures from a flip phone to a Smart Phone? I have an older LG flip phone that has cratered so we switched to a Samsung S8 a couple months ago and want to save the pictures we have on the flip phone. Our server is Verizon.

Any help, suggestions, or advice will be greatly appreciated. I suppose a trip to the Verizon store might help but the last time I was there to see about a new phone all I got was a bunch of sales talk with very little actual information.

Can your old flip phone be connected to a computer? Or does it have a removable memory card? If not, a trip t OK Verizon is your only hope.

if the flip phone still works. You can simply send a text message with a photo attached from the flip phone to you email address. When you open the email from your smart phone you can save it to your gallery.

I don't know about connecting to a computer, not sure what kind of cord it will take as the only place to connect would be the charging slot on the phone and need an end for the computer. And I know it doesn't have a removable memory card.

The phone does work but it has no line number since we transferred our phone number to the new Smart Phone. I'm assuming you can't send a text msg from a phone without a line.

What make is the flip phone? There may be an adapter cable available to transfer the photos to a computer.

Yes, it can be done with the correct cabling...
and would be the only way I'd want to do any number of pics rather than one at a time

I periodically back up our phones to folders on our pc's just in case one goes belly up.

Two or Three methods.

ONE: If the FLip still works It may be possible to Blue Tooth/Infra Red or Wi-Fi transfer

Two: If the Flip still works connect to a computer via USB copy Then do the same for the S-5 (By the way I use an S-5 suggestions follow(

Three: Take both phones to your phone provider's store and let THEM do it.

Suggestion: YOu can put a Micro SD card in the S-5. I think 64 Gig (Might be bigger) DO SO and re-set your Camera to use the hard card (Micro SD) in fact set it to use the Card for as much as possible because they basically forgot to put memory in the phone itself.

I work the blazes out of my S-5

I have a cable for the Smart Phone to connect to my laptop, but I have no idea where to get one for the LG flip phone. Sounds more and more like I'm headed for Verizon.

Tell me the model LG you have. I may have a link to a vendor depending on the age.

Or you can try this:

Pair your Bluetooth equipped flip phone to your Android smartphone and transfer the photos. Connect the smartphone to your computer via USB and you should be able to transfer the photos to your laptop.

Take the phone to a Best Buy or electronics store, tell them what you want to do and they can probably help you out face to face. Probably even have a cable for phone to computer connection, depending on the age of the phone.

One side of the case has broken out where the flip lid hinges. Everything else works if the lid is carefully held in place while opening the phone, except being able to make calls since we transferred out number to the new Smart Phone.

The flip phone is an LG, model UX8350R (or QR).
