Trouble accessing Firefox web Browser
The last 2-3 days every time I click on the Firefox icon to access the web browser instead of going to Firefox start-up page it just goes to a blank white page and the little indicator (or whatever it's called) just sets there spinning.
Anyone else having problems like this? I had to use Internet Explorer just to post this question. Or I have to use Google Chrome to get on the Internet, very frustrating.

Maybe there is a problem with your "Start Page" loading.
Try going to Tools>>Options>>General.
In "Startup" select "Show A Blank Page"
Click on "OK"
Restart Firefox.
Hope this helps.

Can you help me some more with this? Where do get in order to click on Tools? You can probably tell what an "expert" I am as far as computers go.

Not a problem.
Open Foxfire.
Hold the "ALT" key down and push the "T" key at the same time.
The tools menu should appear at the top of your browser.
Select Tools, then Options, then General.
In "Startup" select "Show A Blank Page"
Click on "OK"
Restart Firefox.
Let me know if you need me to talk you through it.

Instead of "Show a blank page" that place now shows "Show my home page". In this position when I open Firefox I get the Firefox icon and a box to type my search in, which has now started working again for some unknown reason. These things that come/go really frustrate me. I did change it to Blank Page but not sure what to do with that page so I changed it back to Home Page. If I start having trouble again accessing Firefox I'll try the Blank Page. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm forever amazed at what's in these computers that I never use or had no idea it was even there.

Do yourself a favor and dump FireFox. After some of the frustrations that you are having, I dumped it and went to Chrome and never looked back, nor had a more stable browser.

The reason you would want a blank page is in case your "Home Page" is slow loading or having trouble and not loading. Slow loading and no loading give symptoms as you described in your first question.
These types of problems happen when traveling and you get a bad wireless connection at the Podunk Hollow RV Park.

Sounds like what I may have to do, but can't even imagine the headache doing this. Is there any imaginable way to get a couple hundred Bookmarks (or Favorites) from one Browser to another? When Firefox is working it seems to me it's easier to manauver through but maybe it's just because I've used it much more than Chrome. It would just be like starting my computer learning all over again and with so many questions I've had to ask on the Forums about situations I've needed help with it seems insermountable.

I just went through this today - during the install of Chrome it asks you if you want to transfer all your bookmarks, favorites, etc.

I switched to Chrome about a year ago. I love it.

+1 Chrome does it for you. It will also update to any other Chrome you have running. I recently bought a Google Nexxus 7 tablet, and all of my bookmarks showed up on it also. Really it can't be beat.

waggonmaster2,
Don't worry, just think back when you didn't even know how to turn a computer on.
Things have a way of getting easier.

Firefox is written by users for users, Chrome is written By Google for Google, Microsoft Internet Exploder is written by microsoft For Microsoft, OPERA is written by users as well but Firefox is in my humble opinion better, The origial Netscape was by and for users but now it's an AOL property.
I use firefox
If you do not have the menu bar ALT V Cursor right and check MENU BAR
This is where TOOLS (And View, and Files, and Bookmarks and more) "Hide". Blank page is a good place to start..
The O/P's problem is that his selected home page is not there or not loading. Since I start with blank, I have not that problem.
