UHF Stations Not Located On OTA Scan
I recently setup the 211K receiver in our motor home to receive local channels OTA through the receiver. The scans find the VHF channels, however none of the UHF channels. Power boost in "on" and I have rotated the "Bat Wing" antenna several degrees in each direction. UHF stations are within 1 degree azimuth, same distance and more powerful. I am using Antennapoint.com for station info. What am I missing? Bat Wing is a recently installed Sensar IV.

Does your digital TV receive and display OTA UHF stations via the batwing if you bypass the 211K receiver?
(aka: connect the output coax of the batwing amp directly to the antenna input F connector on the TV) ?

Not sure what you are missing as I have never quite goten to that point with my 211K.. But on a guess you have either a bad splitter or a bad hunk of coax somewhere.

Since there really isn't any VHF/UHF channels anymore it's hard to say what you are seeing. With digital TV, transmission of channels occurs all over the place. A channel is not necessarily broadcast on what used to be it's VHF frequency. So channel 4, 4.1, 4.2 is not broadcast on the old channel 4 frequency it might be broadcast on a UHF frequency in that area.
UHF frequencies also have less range than VHF. If you are at the extremes of the stations broadcast range, you may not pickup signals with your antenna setup or your location.

Since there is still some analog out there could it be you have your receiver only looking for analog and not the digital signals? I am not familiar with your receiver.

Thanks for all your help. I may be trying to do things the hard way.

Another forum supplied the answer. On the system set-up menu (6), option 7, HD changed from "Cable" to "OTA".
