I was going to get into a party plan but left it too late, it's no longer on the Visible website...... is there a secret entrance?

I think it's too late to join a party plan. I'm not sure what happens if a member of a party sends you an invitation. That might work.

Party plans all going to disappear eventually anyway. I don't think Visible has announced when that will happen. Some say 1/1/2023 for everyone to be forced onto one of the two new plans but I don't think that is official.

Visible is allowing people to join a party until 10/18/22.
Once your in the price is locked in as long as you continue service.

I sent one friend request and party name, have one spot left, if anyone interested.

Signed up for Visible but no indication of it being party plan, only the new $30 plan. Only field available was for friend code, not party plan name. None the less, it's still cheaper than what I've been paying T-Mobile for a phone plus a WIFI hotspot. I should have done it in August but kept putting it off.....

Thanks for the input. I think you may need to go chat to ask for party plan but would not matter unless we could get one more to join then would drop cost to $25.00.
I will let you know if I get another to join.
Thanks for trying.

Just went to Visible chat to ask why you couldn't join my party.
Found out the party plan is available to join until 10/18/22 only for existing customers.
Apparently new customers are not able to join.
Sorry for the confusion but $30.00/mo. is still the best deal going. Enjoy your new service.

update

I found I could find a party plan to join on the Visible forum.
I had to leave my current two person party then join the new larger party and now have my and wife's service for the $25.00/mo. ea.

We used "Mint" last winter for 3 months.
They allowed me to use my iPhone 12 ,but I did have to get a new phone number which was no problem.
We found the service excellent.
The only issue was getting a new SIM card as they will not mail one to Canada.
Fortunately I have a cousin in Napless that redirected the mail to me.
We will likely use Mint again this winter.

If you buy from Amazon in Canada, you can do the same in the US. Just sign in with your CDN ID on Amazon.com, use your CDN billing address and use the address where you're parked for the winter for shipping. You can also go into the nearest Target store and buy the SIM there..... or order online from Target for in-store pick up. I know of others who bought the SIM at Best But and Office Max.

Thanks for that, definitely will look into this as we will need internet.

addendum: just check both out and neither offer service to Tucson Estates area

Cell phone plan option

Last February we used a plan from roamingfree.ca. they provide options via AT&T ot TMobile. We used a plan from TMobile that gave us unlimited data, phone calls to Canada, UD, Mexico and unlimited text messages. It does require adding a Sim card to your phone, but was a really good price, especially compared to what our Canadian carrier offered.

I have 3 unlocked smart phones ( 2 brands ) and can't find a US carrier to supply a card to activate any of them .
This is a common issue. I purchased a verison SIM card and went to a verison store. They had issues activating my iPhone 12. The work around was they used their own in house cell phone to activate the SIM card and the once the carrier recognizes the SIM card, put that card into my unlocked iPhone and then no more issues. The only bizarre thing is my phone thinks it is the verison phone that it was activated with. This has not caused me any issues.

We’ve gravitated to AT&T over the years. Works out to around $53/mo with today’s crazy exchange rates, BUT … unlimited Cda/US/Mx talk and text in any direction, 10 gigs of data/mo with single month carryover of unused data. Don’t even have to swap back to our Cdn SIMs on our return to Cda anymore - works here.
