Victron Bluetooth

Hello everyone
We finally got solar installed and it has a Victron 150/60 controller. Victron uses Bluetooth to monitor it but unfortunately the only place to mount the controller was in the power bay and that's all metal. So, what I'd like to do is figure out some way to extend the Bluetooth signal so we can monitor it. So anyone with more tech smarts than me know of a way to do that?
Thanks
Keith

For like $230 you can get a cerbogx-s. Another $15 for a vedirect cable then plug the solar into the cerbogx and you can monitor it from anywhere over wifi/cell. Also logs and forecasts and everything

I think they make a vedirect Bluetooth module that extends.

according to the website you need a dongle for bluetooth connection so you unit is similar to mine just bigger.. The dongle has a long cord on it so you should be able to mount it outside of the bay, the connector is fairly small and you should be able to drill a small hole and rout it inside a cabinet or such..

I use the the Victron BT Dongle with my Victron SmartShunt. It works great and is both easy to install and at $40 inexpensive to purchase.

Hello
What's the range for the Dongle? My smart controller has Bluetooth but the range is probably less than 10'. I don't know if that's normal or because it's mounted where it's surrounded by metal.

I installed a BMV 712, mounted the display in an overhead compartment over the passenger seat.

I can pick up a signal ~+75' away from the metal garage the coach is parked in.

I mounted the dongle at the top of a mid-coach basement compartment and can use the Bluetooth all over inside the 37’ coach.
