Visible tethered to home wifi router
I just signed up for Visible (A7 phone). I plan to get all the recommended hardware for using it in the RV, but I'm wondering about connecting it to my home wifi router to see how that works. I have a Deco Mesh system at the house that I would like to tether it to. Is it as simple as buying a USB C to Ethernet adapter to make the connection?
(such as: https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Adap...2493370&sr=8-3 ) Would the phone charge through that connection?
I know there is a lot of different hardware that makes answering a question like this difficult but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. Buy one and try it is my next plan.

I am not sure if that adapter would be supported by the phone, but more importantly the phone would not charge. I was just helping my nephew setup a similar system using Visible and an A7 over the weekend. We used a GL iNet travel router (the model we used was a 4 year old AR-150) and a USB - USB-C cable. Total cost about $25 to bridge to his home router, AR-150, a short network cable, a pair of USB cables (micro USB to power the GL iNet and USB-C cable to connect the GL iNet to the phone), and a USB power adapter.
p.s. the yellow cheaper / faster / newer GL iNet MT-300N-V2 should also work

I use the same 150 router and it works perfect. Amazon or eBay.

Thanks for your reply.
If I understand your configuration, you are using the AR-150 tethered to the phone (Does the AR-150 keep the phone charged while tethered?), and the AR-150 then provides the wifi to the house?
I would want to use the GL iNet router to bridge from it being tethered to my phone via USB and connected to my Deco Mesh system via Ethernet. My Mesh system covers a much larger area than the GL iNet would be able to.
My objective is to get internet from Visible to my Deco Mesh system via wires.

You plug the phone into either of the router suggested before with a usb cable then plug the router to your mesh system with an Ethernet cable - In the router settings disable the WiFi...

We have my nephews setup so that it feeds the uplink port on his existing router so he can still use his wired devices, and did not have to go associate everything. Though the GL iNet can also be used as a standard wifi router, just one with fewer wired ports and only about a 50-75 ft range.
You may also want to plug into a battery backup, as the A7 appears to require USB tethering to be re-enabled each time it looses connection, such as if the AR150 looses power and reboots.
