Wi Fi hot spot

I have a Winnebago your 2015 , does the built in hot spot just run thru your phone or is it independent, we need to download data from our lap top to our printer to make mailing shipping labels, any ideas out there , additional satellite on roof? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

The chances are that it's a WiFi hotspot meant to connect to local wifi and then re-broadcast the signal inside your RV. People on this forum could give you more specific advice if you would let us know what kind of hotspot you have.

I just use a USB cord for my laptop to interface with our portable printer and can do that offline without internet needed. Our RV is so small there is no sense for us to do that wirelessly when both the laptop and printer are sitting on the same table. Downloading the lablels to your laptop may require internet, not sure where you are sourcing the labels from.
