WiFi Ranger a Brick?

I bought my coach with a Sky4 unit on top and a core unit inside. Honestly, this thing performs terribly. It will not connect the iPhone using tethering but will work via WiFi as wan.Trouble is, speeds are reduced to 50% or less versus simply using my phone as a hotspot. The interface takes minutes to load a page and disconnections are frequent. It will reach out to the campground Wi-Fi but that is about all it is good forÖ Speeds are terrible there also. Better to connect directly.

Am I the only one experiencing this performance? Looking like I need to go in a different direction.

As I've already explained to you through the WiFiRanger customer service website, the product you have is being used, successfully, by many thousands of customers. We would be happy to work with you to make sure yours is working properly.

WiFiRanger does make routers with with higher levels of performance than yours has. You might want to consider upgrading.

Thanks Joel...I thought that might have been you. Yes, I am very frustrated and disappointed I canít get this thing to work. Yes, I have enabled the iPhone hotspot, permissions, etc. Also checked off the box on the WFR control board. The problem is it takes forever to load the page and then the results are not very promising. For a 2 year old device, I would think it would perform on a par with its competitors.

Perhaps an upgrade is in order, but donít know which model to turn to. Am I able to install one of the newer indoor models, marrying it up to my rooftop Sky4? Not too keen on going up on the roof these days to change out that unit.

I've already referred your case to our Tier 3 specialist. He will work with you next week.
