Keep in mind that WifiRanger is using hardware from Mikrotik and charging a substantial markup for a user interface that is simple and user friendly.

I installed the Rogue Wave and am very happy with it. Installation was simple with no need to mess with computer settings.

I have used the Rogue Wave since December 2010. I've been very happy with the unit and it's ability to reach our and find Hot Spots for use. There have been times in some RV parks where people have complained about the park Wi-Fi signal being too weak to pick up inside their RV's whereas I have no problem not only getting a strong signal but one with decent speed both up and down.
The best part is that it is Plug-N-Play, no programming needed.

our WifiRanger works well - have had it for 18 months of fulltiming traveling 45k miles cross country and Canada, with two teens, run a business from the coach, and wifi is extremely important. the antenna is easily mounted on the front of the forward a/c unit and run down thru the top of the main slide into the coach. the 'software' is really easy - it scans for signals and the small in-line router provides the multi device connections.
their customer service has been excellent anytime i've had any questions.
