Winegard 360+ with Gateway

Does anyone use the Winegard 360+ for TV? If so, do you also use the Winegard Gateway? How does it seem to do? Did you go with Winegard's data plan or did you place your own AT&T/Verizon sim card in?

Just bought an Alliance Paradigm 310RL and the unit came with the Winegard 360+. Just trying to figure out if the gateway should be something to look at to "solve" my internet access. We camp only a few weeks out of the year (a week at a time), so it may not be worth our while.

Thank you in advance.

I was interested I using the Air 360+ for TV and 4G reception. I wanted to know if I could plug the wires coming off the 4G antenna of the 360+ directly into my Verizon mifi to boost/improve the signal without using their router. So, I called Winegard and was told this would not work and I had to buy their router. This implies you also have to buy their packaged Verizon plan to get 4G to work. If so, what a scam. My Verizon mifi is already a 4G transceiver/wireless router and I only pay $65/month for unlimited data. Winegard's 20Gb plan is $150/month. Wouldn't the 4G signal coming off their antenna be exactly the same as the 4G signal received over the air directly by my mifi? You would think so. Either their employee was misinformed or they tell people they need the router and overpriced cell plan to boost sales or they manipulate the signal coming off the antenna for some reason. All I know is I didn't buy their cell plan or their router or their antenna. They got nothing. I'd be interested to know if someone has been able to use the Air 360+ as a 4G antenna without using Winegard's router.

Just to clarify, if you go with AT&T or Verizon, you do not go through Winegard. You go through the provider you choose. Only when you pick Winegard's SIM card will you use/pay them. The only thing that I see as a plus using Winegard is that you pay for a certain amoung of GB, it is good for 30 days, and that is it. You do not get charged monthly (unless you buy it monthly) like AT&T or Verizon want (whether you use it or not).
