Smile Winegard

We purchased a new to us 5th wheel (2021) which a Wineguard installed, I have zero knowledge on this. Does not have internet but only satellite for TV and Radio? Do we need to purchase additional equipment and service to get all this to work.

You need to have a receiver for it. Plus, service from either Dish or DirectTV.

You will need to find out how the Winegard is setup, it could be for either one of the services. First thing before you buy anything else find out which service this was setup for.

All you need is a SIM card. I use a t-mobile card 100gb $50 a month. I stream everything and wife uses data like mad.

No issues

The Gateway device is an accessory router that can be added to a Winegard Air360+ antenna system. It serves as a WiFi router and, when equipped with a SIM from a cellular carrier, it also can act as a cellular hotspot.

Your Gateway was probably delivered with a Winegard FreedomGo SIM already installed. FreedomGo data plans are sold directly by Winegard. You may choose to use one of those or you my select a data plan on your own and contract for it with one of the cellular carriers.
