Winegard Carry out or Mission

I'm looking to buy a truck camper. Has only 1 tv and there won't be any viewing while driving. I'm a Directv subscriber. Should I buy a Carryout or Mission?
Mission is much more $ from what I see. What is the benefit?
Thanks,
Chris

The Mission is an In-Motion antenna, which you say you don't need. I have a Carryout that I used for DirecTV and now DISH and it has worked perfectly. If I was only going to have one antenna, it would be a carryout for those times you are blocked by trees. The only disadvantage is a little more setup time having to pull it out and hook it up, but it's no big deal.

Just to clarify. The Mission can be in motion. There are different models. They are automatic as in turn it on and it will find and connect to it automatically. In motion means you can have it track a satel while the vehicle is in motion. The Mission is also mounted on the roof where the carryout is not typically mounted and can be moved if the satel is blocked by say a tree or something.

So is the Carryout not automatic to connect once plugged in?

I believe there a couple different versions of Carryout so I am not the right person to answer. Hopefully someone else can. In the meantime there is a good bit of information on the Winegard site:

DISH Compatible Satellite Antennas for RV, Camping and Tailgating

The carryout dome is automatic. As mentioned, there is a manual carryout in a suitcase like carry case. It would not be compatible with DISH as it only receives one satellite at a time but I had one when I was on DirecTV and it worked fine. Once you got used to manually tuning it, the setup is pretty easy.
