What did your previous cover look like? And the new one? How did you request the new one?

I get the no SIM error way too often, and - with seemingly how common this problem is - it’s super frustrating there’s not an identifiable issue with a prescribed solution yet.

The first cover was semi-clear plastic with 2 screws to hold it on. It always seemed to me that it didn't protect on the top very well as it wrapped around the sides and bottom, but not the top. The new one has a black foam rubber gasket glued on the inside so that it makes contact with the top, bottom, and both sides. As I said, I haven't tried it putting that off until the next time it can't read the SIM. I got mine from a Winegard rep at a Coachmen rally who picked it up from a local warehouse overnight. I would quite imagine that you can get one from customer service although I don't know the cost.

I don't know if this is the right forum or the right way to do this but I would like to take a minute to thank DocJ for helping me navigate the problems I had with my Winegard. He was patient and he and Wifi Ranger worked thru my problems. It ended up being a hardware issue but could not have figured it out without DocJ's help.

If anyone needs help with their unit, I suggest sending him a message.
