Winegard Connect 2.0 software update

I have had a Winegard Connect 2.0 on top of my Thor Tuscany for two years. Today I tried to put it back in service and was greeted with a message that the software was out of date and had to be updated before the system would work.

I've had no luck at all getting the update downloaded or installed.

The instructions and procedures on how to get this accomplished are anything but clear.

I finally got the Winegard App on my Galaxy S10+ to the point of actually checking for the update, but the following screen kept appearing so I am at a standstill.

Is the Winegard server malfunctioning or am I doing something wrong?

Looking for some advice from other users that have been able to update successfully. Click image for larger version

It appears that you need to connect your Winegard Connect 2.0 to your phone so that it can use the phone's internet connection. The error message you are receiving is because the device doesn't have an internet connection.
