Winegard gateway

Winegard gateway with air 360+ antenna. Mounted on my 2023 Forest River Forrester. This is all new to me. it has been working very well for over the air TV signals and also for cell signals and park Wi-Fi. For the first time I am trying to use the TV coax cable furnished by an RV park. I cannot get the TV to recognize the park cable. Is there something I need to do with the Winegard so that it will quit trying to provide an over the air signal. and let the TV use a local coax hook up? I did go into the TV menu and change from over the air to Cable.
Thank you.

Is the coaxial input on the back of the TV supporting the antenna or the cable. Or is the Winegard antenna connected by HDMI cable to support WiFi. Which would make sense. You have different inputs. Your not on the right input with the TV.

The antenna has a power supply that is usually found in a small outlet box on the wall. I would assume that this power supply needs to be OFF in order to be able to pass a TV signal through the coax.

Thanks to both of you. I do have the correct input selected cable as opposed to air and I have shut off the TV side of the Winegard gateway error 360. No yet luck yet. I am waiting for the park to confirm that there is an incoming signal at the post.

If they confirm signal at the pedestal, see if they have a long RG6 cord to go from the pedestal direct to one of your TV cable inputs. That will help isolate the problem to either TV configuration or internal RV signal path.

In the absence of a sophisticated RF Meter, 50-100 ft of RG6 is a cable guy's Best tool for troubleshooting... (33 yrs CATV field service tech)

Thank you. They did confirm a signal at the post. I have put the problem ‘on hold’ until I get home. I have the cable there to do the troubleshooting as you suggest.
