Winegard, Peplink, others

Hi

has anyone had experience with the Winegard "gateway" add-on to the Air360+? It looks like a CAT 4 modem so basic stuff, but for $300 its a bargain compared to the high powered stuff that is exposed by the two businesses who have paid the most for search results and youtube keywords.

but that aside, I'm trying to establish the value of a pepwave single CAT 6 or even CAT 12 modem over the Winegard.

Anyone used any of these? I'm trying to build out a reliable work-from-home solution so the tough stuff does have some appeal...

Map your local tower , carrier, bands they use in your location.

Then plans that fit use, budget.

Equipment. All based upon what the research yield.
A Ferrari modem is useless if all you can get is a narrow dirt road band width to use

We have a Gateway and the 360 that came with our Pinnacle. The Gateway has worked well for us in the few parks that we tried it. It's all dependent on how well the park's wifi works. In one park the wifi had intermittent outages which meant no Gateway until it came back up. We use it as much as we can but also rely on our phone hotspots as a backup.
