Winegard Roadtrip Mission Repair
My rooftop satellite dish is a Winegard Roadtrip Mission. It is about 10 years old, and until a couple of months ago, it worked just fine. Now, it searches for satellites (it should be finding the western arc birds, 110, 119, 129), but can only find 61.5 on the eastern arc. The only signal we can get on it is the Dish Network channel 101. I took the cover off the dish, and watched it go through it's gyrations. The dish spins around, and points itself up and down, but just doesn't lock onto any western arc satellites. I carry a portable satellite, the pathway X2, and it has no issues. We are using that now for our satellite reception. But I'd rather not have to lug that thing out and set it up at every stop. The problem is, I can't find anyone who repairs satellite dishes. I'm sure it's probably some sort of issue with the electronics in the control board on the dish, or something similar. Does anyone have suggestions on who works on these things?
