Winegard switch

How can you switch the dish from direct tv to dish tv. I have the Winegard dish on top of the MH that raises and lowers and locates satellites electronically.

Winegard makes a conversion kit which changes out the LNB and reflector. The kit is somewhere under $300.

46490, along with changing the LNB and reflector you will have to remove the direct TV power inserter and splitter then connect the cables from the dish back together were the splitter was removed.
I did it on our 2014 Adventure not hard to do.

Will the dish programming work on all of the tv's like the direct tv does? Can you just buy a reflector and lnb or does it have to be Dish specific. Where can you buy the parts to swap out the direct tv reflector and lnb?

Why change from Dish to Direct? In most Dish vs Direct threads Dish is preferred.

I believe that's what the OP plans to do.

46490, the video and audio cables should just plug in the dish receiver like they were connected to the DirecTV receiver and use the same distribution system.
The parts come from Winegard but I have seen them on Amazon.
At one time Wingard sold a complete kit part number OE-DISH but I could not find it anywhere.
So there are two part numbers you will need.
RP-SK21, Replacement DISH 1000 Bracket & LNB Assembly
RP-SK11, Replacement Dish Reflector.
Here is a link to the installation manual.

Here is the Amazon link.
