Winegard Travler hook up question

I just purchased a new class a motorhome that has the wine guard traveler satellite already installed. My question is how do you hook your DIRECTV box up to the system? I will attach a picture of the plug options. Thank you.

Congratulations on your new motorhome!!

Turn on the Directv satellite and confirm you are connected to satellites, connect your Directv receiver and see if you it connected. You may need to call Directv to refresh the receiver. Please let us know what happened.

Hooking up cables

If the Directv receiver hooks up the the satellite connection in the picture on the wall plate, what does the TV connection do on the wall plate? My Directv receiver has HDMI cable that runs from it to the TV or box, so I am confused on this other connection on the wall plate for a TV.

My guess is Auxsat connects satellite to tv and the tv connects antenna to tv.

My Trav’ler comes out to where the main tv is at in a hdmi cable that we hooked up to the tv. When we get to the campground we turn on the Trav’ler in our bedroom and it normally takes the Trav’ler about 20 minutes to find the satellite. Wife then turns on the tv and the tv normally stays on DirecTV all the time. We hardly ever use OTA antenna or campground cable

Have you verified that the Travler is Direct TV? Direct and Dish use different Travler's.

My Winegard carry out has "dip" switches that set it for Direct or Dish.
Might want to check them.

The Travler's don't have dip switches. The dish's are different.

There should be a separate coax running to the directv ( or dish) box directly from the roof not connected with those outputs. The directv is then sent via hdmi to the tv from there. The plate you are showing is the cabletv/ antenna / power to the antenna…. you should also have a coax from the back of that plate going to the tv. Select antenna by turning on the power button. Turn the power button off and connect the park cable to the coax connector probably in the wet or electric bay set tv to the appropriate source normally the connectors on the front are “extra “ and not used.
Do you have the satellite box ? Is it connected as I described to the tv via HDMI with a coax to the roof ?

Here is my set up. Don’t see a separate cable coming in from satellite to plug into the directv box once it is installed. I assume the hdmi would run from back of directv box into the hdmi box, not sure how that works either.
