I downloaded and used their new app for locating TV towers and satellites, and it works quite well.

Yep, I downloaded it about a month ago and it works as well as the pay app from Dishpointer. The only problem I had was the compass function on my tablet does not work very well so I have to make sure that is working before using the Winegard app.

Agree. Works well. Simple. Sat and OTA in one app.

I installed and reinstalled several times. The TV towers were OK, but the satellites only showed for milliseconds on first time use and then quit showing entirely on subsequent attempts. I notice there was one update, but it does not show even after deleting and reinstalling. I dumped the app till they get the bugs out. I am using an iPhone 7.

Make sure the compass feature is working correctly on your I phone.
