Wireless internet
Hello, I'm sure there has been many answers for this but I need to know what everyone uses for wireless service or mobile hotspots. We both have AT&T and tried their silly wireless Hotspot and no luck. Please let me know what you all have had the best of luck with. We'd like to stream and she'd like to possibly do some work from home stuff. My apologies if this has been asked to death.

Visible on Verizon towers @ $25 a month works well for me. Just can't beat a real unlimited plan.

Any phone acting as a hotspot or a mifi card will only work well IF you have a very strong cell signal. Otherwise you will get stops and starts drop outs etc. You have to look at your signal and tell us what it is. If you are in a semi weak signal area an external antenna and a cell booster might provide some help.

Here's my setup...
A ZTE cell router (not a 'hotspot") on ATT, with MIMO antennas on the roof..
Another ZTE cell router on Google Fi/T-Mobile, MIMO antennas on the roof...
A WiFi Ranger Denali shark fin on the roof for park WiFi and another Google Fi SIM...
My Verizon cell phone for tethering when necessary...
All connected to a WiFi Ranger Spruce router generally run in load balancing mode.

...think Don nailed it....we have an ATT cell phone-based router for our S&B and it works great....but again, we are very close to a tower....this whole issue of streaming and internet while traveling is a mystery to me....seems quality of cell connection is the key.
PS--still see satellite providers [eg, HughsNet] advertising internet service but always heard they have limited speed/capacity.

I've spent THOUSANDS on cellular equipment..... do your own research and buy what's best for you. Do not order just because you see it on a forum.
After going through the school of hard knocks and great expense, I now can connect to a cell tower that's 15-miles away with ease.

One hint is a MOFI 4500 router and a $250 directional antenna mounted at 25 feet.
