Lightbulb Xfiniy mobile feedback from RVers

Since i can not find this subject already i thought i would just ask it. Here goes!
How does Xfinity Mobile work on the road?
I know it uses Verizon towers but without Verizon’s roaming agreements. This may affect coverage/connection in rural areas, but i don’t know and struggle finding out. I know the cost per line and all that for Xfinity Mobile.
Reviews i have read or watched all talk about service in urban areas where thousands of Xfinity hot spots help to cut down on cell data use. No one talked about traveling with the service. Asolutely no one talked about cell phone service from campgrounds. There has to be iRV2 members with Xfinity Mobile service!
We currently have AT&T cell service with too much data.
Finally we are 32 + months from retirement and i know things will change before we need constant communications from the road. In the meantime, we just need good cell phone and data service/reception to get by on our weekend/vacation trips.

I switched from Verizon to Xfinity and so far so good, however I have not spent too much time away from an urban area. Keep in mind that you have to retain an Xfinity internet account or pay an additional fee. In my case the additional fee was $10 per month which is the same fee to put my internet service on vacation hold, so I did that instead. Also keep in mind that their service, at least in my area is only available for certain phones, mainly iPhones. I did travel recently through rural Nevada and it worked well in places like Beatty, NV as well as Reno and Las Vegas.

Hope this helps.
