110v duplex plugs not working

All my 110v is working except for duplex plugs. Checked all breakers and fuses. Only one appliance plug by sink is working, but no others throughout MH. '89 Class A Fleetwood Pace Arrow. Has a Progressive Dynamics Power Converter in it... Original Unit. 5 breakers and 10 fuses. I have checked all breakers and fuses... Doesn't seem to be the problem. All other 110v stuff is working except these darn plugs. Anyone have any thoughts about this???

Thanks,
Tom

Check your GFCI. Dollar to a donut, it's tripped and it's in the circuit with your other plugs.

X2

Also sometimes circuit breakers look like they are ok but are tripped...Turn them all the way off then back to on...

Do they work off your inverter?

It's either the GFI or your inverter circuit breakers tripped. Also if you are 50 amp service and plugged into 30 amp. The inverter has to be on.

My inverter has never been on when plugged into 30A and everything works fine...What is the reason for doing this...

Many times outlets will be on the inverter, IF YOU HAVE ONE, I have an aftermarket one, Many inverters have one or two circuit breakers ... Often around in teh back where they are hard to see, Often POST type (Push in to reset) .

A new one I just heard about today from a nearby camper who was having issues.

Background: On some 30 amp RV's with 2 Air conditioners,, One of them (usually the rear) is connected to a breaker on the generator, It always gets power via this breake EVEN IF ON SHORE POWER (The auto transfer switch provides it to the breaker) Well on his RV the GFCI protected outlets were connected to that breaker So check those too, even if you are NOT using the generator.

Check to see if GFIC's are tripped, some feed thru to other outlets.

I've never had to run my inverter when plugged into 30A. Why would this be required?

Oops, meant GFCI, ground fault circuit interrupter. They changed the name 'cuz GFI, gave the impression that when it tripped, it interrupted the fault, but it's really the circuit.

110v duplex plugs not working

I use the 50 amp service and certain plugs in the rv go thru the inverter at all times,my 2 tvs and one other wall plug.If the inverter is tripped or down these items dont work.If you have 30 A I would think the same thing, otherwise you could not drydock.First I would make sure you have power going in and out of the inverter, remember that you are messing with 110 V.Good luck.

This does not appear to be the same as my issue, but thought I would say my piece anyway. I was using my coach without hookups, just using the generator. a couple of weeks ago. My wife was cooking something in the convection oven, the TV was on, lights on, etc. Suddenly the convection oven stopped and the TV blinked. The TV came back on, the lights worked, the A/C worked, but no juice to the convection oven. I thought it was a GFI plug flipped, or breaker. I did not find any breakers flipped, but found that the GFI plugs did not have power but also could not reset them. After a long search, I called my RV service man. He said to go to the generator and there should be some breakers on the unit itself. I pulled off the front panel and found two switches. One of them had flipped. I reset it and all the plugs came back on. So, I say all that to say that even if it looks like there are no breakers flipped in the main panel, there may be one flipped either at the inverter or on the generator.

Thanks,
Ted
