2000 vintage Onan Microquiet 4000 coil

I need to replace the coil in my generator. Is there a way to replace it without removing it from beneath the vehicle? Right now I can't seem to reach it.

Thanks,

Van

Assuming you mean the magneto coil that makes the spark. That will be really hard to do if not impossible. have had my Microquiet out and refurbished it and I believe that there is a gap adjustment that needs to be done and I wouldn't want to try it blind. Do you have a service manual? That will tell you. I am not home so I don't know where the link is but you can get them. If you don't need to adjust the gap and you can get to it without removing the intake fan assembly let me know and I will tell you how I got to that area to replace the starter.
