2002 Born Free 24RB Air Bag Suspension

I apparently have a twin Air Bag Suspension on the rear of my motorhome. There are two valves, side by side on the driver's side, nearby the fuel filler where you pressure fill the air bags with a portable inflator. The inflator automatically stops at 80 lbs. One of the air bags normally comes up to 80 from 72 lbs. The other comes up from 42 lbs when I do top off. I imagine there is a leak somewhere. Can these air bag systems be easily repaired or would it be practical to replace the one that apparently is leaking? I would not be able to do any repairs or replacements myself.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Check fittings for leaks first. Make sure Schrader valve it tight in valve stem. Use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray all fittings. 800 psi is a lot! The bags I have stated 1 psi will lift 50 lbs so for my 2500 lb lance cabover camper I would add 50 psi per side.

My mistake. I meant 80 PSI not lbs. Will get my mobile mechanic to check for leaks. If necessary then I'll get my RV shop to see if the air bag needs replacing. Thanks.
