2003 Holiday Ambassador Rear A/C won't start

Hi,

I have had my motorhome stored for the last 2 yrs. When we put him up everything worked fine. I am in the process of trying to sell him. I was checking things out yesterday and was running the generator. I noticed that the living room AC came on but not the bedroom. It makes a humming sound, the fan will not even. Can you guys tell me if it is something simple to fix or more complex?

Thank you!

The fan motor may be locked up. You can remove the shroud and spin the squirrel cage fan manually to free it up. Do this while it is humming and trying to start.

This is great advice. Get up on the roof and give the fan motor a spin. It's just stuck from sitting.
